Determine where you would like to anchor a digital artifact in the world. Log into illust's AR studio to configure your augmented reality scene.
02 Set Up
Upload .png, .jpg, .mov, .mp4, .mp3, .glb and + into the AR scene. Use our native lighting, interactions, material editing, and animation modules to spice it up!
03 After
It's in the world! Access AR experiences and illust's map via QR codes, NFC tags, links, or embedable links.

1. Types of studio
AR deployments.
Illust’s AR Creator Studio provides you with 3 different AR triggers:
WORLD AR
The world is your gallery to place artifacts, art, stories, and messages. Using illust's "World Tracking" and map systems, create a geofence for your work in the world.
FACE & BODY AR
Aka selfie filters, the AR experiences use the face to render the graphics you configure in the studio. Body tracking libraries coming soon to the studio.
IMAGE TARGET AR
Natural features, signage, and existing physical items become the target to train the computer vision model and render the graphics configured in the studio.

LIGHTING
Studio creators have control over lighting intensity, color, reflections, environment maps, shadows, and more!
MATERIAL EDITING
Configure, remix, and change the materials and textures of your AR experience. Simply, select the material channel and edit.
VIDEO EFFECTS
Take advantage of configurable video textures, occluders, holograms, and streaming through MUX.
ANIMATIONS
Run baked 3D animations in the studio, add motion across the X,Y, and Z axis, and determine playthrough duration.
INTERACTIONS
Determine the controls for your end users and drive visitors to custom links using this module.
AUDIO
Set up an audio track for the AR experience that can be geofenced or tethered directly to the AR scene.

About the technology.
No — illust runs in a web browser, no download required
Our software works with GLB for 3D, mp4/mov for video, png/jpg for stills, and .mp3 for audio. If you use 3D animations, please bake the animations and they will run in the system. File limits are 30MB and gif's are not supported.
Absolutely, you can turn off access to any experience you have in the studio.

About the locations & availability.
As many as you would like within the file storage limits.
Yes, you can enter an address, Latitude and Longitudinal coordinates, or select a location by clicking on the map in the studio.
About the payment.
You will be charged $1 for the first 30 days of studio access. We offer discounts for yearly software access and you will be charged based upon the plan you select.
Illust works to maintain your work in the studio even if you cancel. If you would like your works removed from the studio, please let us know. If you would like to store your works into perpetuity using the blockchain and decentralized storage, this can be arranged for a one time nominal fee per work.
