AR POP UPS
Shopify, always at the forefront of consumer trends, regularly creates events to showcase the platform’s ever-growing capabilities.
After Heatonist saw huge growth when switching to their platform, it was a natural fit to create a Pop-up event around their success, demoing Shopify’s new integrations and providing an experiential destination at their NY retail venue.
From March 31st to April 2nd, Shopify welcomed Heatonist at its retail location to produce an interactive exhibition using Illust’s augmented reality tools for its brand. Heatonist’s Creative Director “Henbo” produced a mix of canvas and mixed media pieces which Illust converted into augmented reality and Proof of Presence tokens. Heatonist merchandise was for sale, along with games, tastings, art, and music from collaborators of the brand.
