Chimpers was looking to engage future licensees at the Vegas Licensing Expo 24’ and win new fans at home. To do so, Illust employed the following proprietary tech and social AR:

    • Immersive AR Displays: Illust developed an augmented reality randomization game that was displayed through AR TVs and through scans of the merch.
    • Landing Page/Newsletter: to complete the game, guests signed up for the newsletter
    • Social AR Effect: Illust co-developed an Instagram and TikTok AR effect to amplify the reach of its brand experience to Chimper’s fans on social (following a similar game mechanic from the AR TV experience). The effect was deployed to its audience creating massive buzz and 1,000’s of shareable moments.

Results: Illust’s blended strategy of  social awareness interwoven with in-person AR engagement drove 100’s of new customers and massive visibility on social media resulting in their first Plushi drop selling out.
