NYC: The Concrete Jungle, Reimagined
There is no better place for this convergence than New York City — a place that has always been a meeting point of cultures, ideas, and movements. On International Peace Day, while the world’s attention turns to dialogue and diplomacy, Balanced Forces will turn the city’s public spaces into portals.
Visitors walking through the art route will see pieces that originated from bedrooms in war-torn neighborhoods, from internet cafes running on generator power, from phones smuggled across borders. The work will stand alongside creations from artists working in comfort and safety, because in this space, they are equals.
Through augmented reality, your art will rise in parks, streets, and plazas — not as a static image, but as a living work that invites interaction and reflection.
An Open Call With Purpose
We invite:
- Artists working in any medium, not just digital or 3D Models, any medium.
- Creators without access to traditional exhibition spaces.
- Individuals facing displacement, conflict, censorship, or systemic exclusion.
- Emerging voices and established practitioners alike.
We provide the platform. You provide the vision.
Submissions will be reviewed for the strength of the story and perspective behind the work. Selected pieces will be featured in the Balanced Forces: NYC AR exhibition route, visible to thousands of visitors on International Peace Day, Artists will have real estate posted on the Balanced Forces Website, SearchLight Website, illust., and The 34 Gallery site. Visibility on this one is huge.
