Gamification in Augmented Reality Through PoP (Proof of Presence)

Augmented reality (AR) and gamification are two technologies that businesses are starting to use more and more to engage customers. AR enhances digital content with interactive, real-world elements, while gamification uses game mechanics like points, badges, and leaderboards to make non-game activities more engaging. Here are a few examples of how businesses are using both augmented reality and gamification to engage their customers. Keep in mind that the best approach will vary depending on the project or game you’re creating, so be sure to experiment and see what works best for your particular project.

With our Proof of Presence System (PoPs) brands can recognize when the customer comes within a geolocated radius of a new store location which then displays a targeted AR experience, can lead them down a mini-quest, and can reward them once they complete the quest.

There’s no question that gamification can be a powerful tool to engage and motivate customers. By adding elements of game-playing to your customer experience, you can keep people coming back for more. Here are some tips on how to use gamification to enhance your customers’ experience:

1. Make it personal. People love games that are tailored specifically for them, so make sure your gamification efforts are personalized. Offer different challenges and rewards depending on the individual’s interests and preferences.

2. Keep it fresh. It’s important to keep things interesting by regularly introducing new challenges and rewards. This will help keep customers engaged and motivated to continue participating in your game.

3. Make it social. Games are more fun when they’re a shared experience!

If you’re like us, you know augmented reality is an amazing technology that has untold potential for businesses and consumers alike. Gamification is a great way to create engaging and fun user experiences, and it can be used in a variety of ways to improve customer loyalty.
